In this exciting painting by Motorsports artist David Carl Peters, we see Gary Scelzi vs. Ron Capps for the 2005 NHRA Funny Car Championship.
This image depicts Scelzi and Capps in a final round duel at "The Strip" in Las Vegas. Capps won this particular race, but Scelzi would capture the Championship two weeks later at Pomona during the "World Finals".
