By 1973 the hard charging Ramchargers team had given up their Challenger bodied Funny Car for this latest Dodge "Demon" offering from Mopar...This Ram had to  be the "Swoopiest" of the bunch for the 73 season. The Demon body was wider in the rear then the Challenger, which allowed for a lower stance, and the chopped top, and laid back windshield gave this "Flopper" an ultra mean look!
So far I've identified 4 different drivers for this "Demon". Leroy Goldstein the original driver, was followed by Arnie Behling, Claire Sanders and Jim Paoli... Sanders was the more successful driver of this Funny...
As a Professional Graphic Designer myself, I was always fascinated by the Ramchargers team. From a graphics standpoint, their simple Red Striped scheme made the "Ramchargers" the "Most" recognizable team in the sport!
They stuck to their simple striped motif throughout their career. Even here in the early 70s, when psychedelic paint jobs were all the rage, they had no need to follow fashions or trends, as they had already established the strongest visible-identity in Drag Racing.  
I painted this front view of the car, because I felt it demonstrated the mean looking attitude of the car...
