In 1964 Streamlining started to rear it's ugly head in Drag Racing...There were a number of such attempts in the dragster ranks. The Scrima Liner (designed by Scrima himself) Of Scrima, Bacilek & Milodon was a beautiful example of streamlining, however the added body weight actually slowed the car down. Eventually, the aero dynamic body was stripped off in favor of a lighter car....This was beautiful car for the short time it lasted....
