Limited-Edition Print of 500, signed and numbered by Cory Mac, and the Artist (31"x 21.5").
Way back in the nineties, before everyone painted flames all over everything they own, they used to paint checkers on everything. The reason for the checkers trend was, due solely to this car of Cory's. Designed by the infamous Kenny Youngblood, and painted by Tom Stratton, this car would cause one of the biggest design fads in motorsports, the need to have checkers painted on every racing vehicle there was...The checkerboard theme was used throughout the nineties, and is now replaced by the flame motif.
This print depicts Cory in his Candy Blue Checkered Fueler, doing a burnout at a rainy Nationals in Seattle...This is the first piece we published of David's artwork ( back in 1993), and to this day, it still brings back the feeling of those days when Cory finished number 2 in the World Championship's point chase...I'm sure Cory had no idea his car would start a whole graphic design craze..
